By accessing the Platform, creating an account, or making any booking or purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account or make a booking. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are booking on behalf of a group or company, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.
SunnyEscapesGetaways is an online travel marketplace connecting travellers with licensed Caribbean service providers across the following categories:
We act as an intermediary and booking facilitator. The actual services are delivered by independent third-party operators. While we carefully vet all partners, we are not responsible for the quality, safety, availability, or legality of services provided directly by third parties.
Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and the dispatch of a confirmation email containing your unique reference number. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of payment.
Pricing: All prices are displayed in USD unless stated otherwise. Prices include applicable taxes and the platform service fee. Prices may change until a booking is confirmed — the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Payment Methods: Online payments are processed through HandyPay's hosted checkout. Available card types and payment options are shown during checkout. We do not store card numbers or CVV details.
Platform Service Fee: A service fee of up to 5% is added to all bookings. This fee covers platform maintenance, customer support, and payment processing costs. The service fee is non-refundable except where a service provider cancels the booking.
Flight Bookings: Flight fares are dynamic and set by airlines. Confirmed flight bookings are subject to the individual airline's fare rules, which are displayed before checkout. Most promotional fares are non-refundable.
Standard Policy: For hotels, sails, tours, spa treatments, adventures, and conference rooms — cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service are eligible for a full refund minus the platform service fee.
Within 48 Hours: Cancellations within 48 hours of the service are subject to the individual provider's cancellation terms, which are shown on each listing before booking.
Flights: Flight cancellation and change policies are set by the operating airline and displayed at checkout. Non-refundable fares will not be refunded; change fees may apply.
Weather Cancellations (Sails & Adventures): If an operator cancels due to adverse weather or safety concerns, you receive a full refund including the service fee, or a complimentary reschedule at your preference.
No-Shows: Failure to arrive for a confirmed booking without prior cancellation is treated as a no-show; no refund will be issued.
Provider Cancellations: If any service provider cancels your booking for any reason other than weather, you will receive a full refund including the service fee within 5–10 business days.
Shop orders are separate from service bookings and are processed independently. Once an order is placed and payment confirmed, it is dispatched within 1–2 business days. Free island-wide delivery applies to orders over $75.
Unused items in original, unopened packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Personal care items, consumables, and opened products are non-returnable. Gift cards are non-refundable after issue.

All content on the Platform — including the SunnyEscapesGetaways name, logo, design, text, photographs, destination guides, and software — is the property of SunnyEscapesGetaways or its licensed suppliers and is protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express written permission. Screen captures for personal trip planning are permitted.
To the fullest extent permitted by Saint Lucian law, SunnyEscapesGetaways shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, or from services booked through it and delivered by third-party operators. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from a specific booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that booking. We are not liable for flight delays, weather events, natural disasters, or acts beyond our reasonable control.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Saint Lucia. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saint Lucia.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, registered users will be notified by email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
